Note from Mr. Dubinsky
We had a fantastic Halloween celebration yesterday, filled with creative costumes, laughter, and the fun of our annual Halloween parade! Seeing the excitement of students and families as the school marched in their costumes made the day so special for all of us.
A huge thank you to our wonderful parent volunteers for your time, energy, and commitment in making the classroom parties so memorable. We hope everyone enjoyed a fun day.
'Character Strong' November theme: GRATITUDE
We are looking forward to focusing on gratitude this month! One way to think about gratitude is “choosing to appreciate the people and things in our lives.” Practicing gratitude can increase our well-being and our happiness.
Gratitude is one of three traits we will focus on throughout the year that helps students be well. Throughout the school, students will be developing skills like emotion regulation, positive self-talk, and stress management.
Lost & Found
As the weather gets colder, our lost and found is filling up quickly with jackets, hoodies, and other items. We encourage you to check out the recent photo to see if any of these belongings belong to your child. If you recognize anything, please stop by the lost and found area inside door #1. Items not picked up may be donated,
No school on November 4, November 5
There will be no school for students on Monday, November 4, and Tuesday, November 5.
Staff will be in school on Monday, November 4, for a School Improvement Day. All schools and the district office will be closed on Tuesday, November 5, for Election Day. All schools will re-open on a regular schedule on Wednesday, November 6.
Keep our car line safe! Please review these procedures
Please review these procedures for the safety of our children and to keep traffic flowing smoothly during dismissal.
Each family has been assigned a number for the car line.
- Please put this card in your vehicle and use it when you need to pick up your student(s) from school.
- This card should be placed in the windshield of your vehicle where it is visible.
- Please make sure your student(s) know this number.
- Please do not get out of your vehicle. Pull as far forward as possible to the next available space.
- Continue moving forward as prompted by staff members.
All students being picked up by a car will be escorted out by staff members through Door #3 to a supervised area. As the cars in the loading lane pull forward to the front of the line with their numbers displayed, the numbers will be called out by a staff member. When a student’s number is called, the student will be released to enter their car. Thank you for your cooperation!
Deadline to provide feedback on fall conferences is November 4
