Happy Spring Break! It’s hard to believe we’ve already reached this point in the year. If only the weather felt more like spring! Hopefully, this is the last of winter for a while.
Spring is always a busy and exciting time at our school! We have several upcoming events, including the music festival for both our bands and choirs, badminton and soccer seasons, the annual WRCS Book Fair (April 7–10), Easter break, our grades 5-8 Band and Fine Arts night (April 24th) and a variety of fun and engaging field trips. Be sure to stay informed by following our school Facebook page or checking the school calendar regularly.
A heartfelt thank you to all the families who attended Parent-Teacher Interviews last week. It was wonderful to connect and have meaningful conversations about your child’s learning and progress. Your partnership is truly valued and appreciated!
Kindergarten registration for the 2025/2026 school year is now open! If you know families planning to join our school, please encourage them to register soon. If you need assistance with registration, don’t hesitate to contact our office.
We wanted to again apologize for the delay of our Purdy’s Chocolate fundraiser. We will not be able to send cases home with students until after the spring break, given the delay. April 10th - May 1st will be our new sales window.
Finally, a quick reminder about our unpredictable spring weather. With melting snow and wet conditions, our back field can quickly turn into the "Whispering Ridge Community School Lake”. Please pack extra clothes for your child to keep them comfortable throughout the day if they happen to get wet outside at recess.
