Book Character Dress Up/Halloween
We will be holding a school wide book character dress up on Thursday, October 31. Students may wear a favorite book character costume to participate. Students should have the book the represents their character. No other costumes are permitted. No masks, face paint, etc. All book character costumes must be school appropriate. Failure to follow school guidelines will result in student calling home for a change of clothes.
No parties will be taking place at school on 10/31. We will have a regular instructional day.
If parents choose to donate, parents must follow these guidelines:
Individually wrapped items ONLY can be sent with their child to school for the entire class.
Suggestions; gummies, suckers, theme pencils, wrapped candy, etc.
All treats will be distributed at the end of the day (3:30) for student to bring home.
Parents are not allowed to drop-off items during the day for students. The office will not accept items. We suggest placing the items in backpacks. Items not following guidelines will be sent home with the student.

Bullying Prevention Month
A growing concern not always discussed is CYBERBULLYING. Cyberbullying is using technology, such as email, texts, social media, online gaming, or pictures, to hurt or harm someone else with unwanted, aggressive, and repeated behavior. And yes, unfortunately it is even happening between elementary school aged children.
