Summer Camp will be held at Imago Dei Village near Shawano, WI.

Parents are welcome to stay in the classroom during class. You are also welcome to wait in the Fireside Room. No food or drink please. Finally, on the Sundays without Drive-Thru Communion, join others for coffee and doughnuts outside.

Fusion is the name of the High school Youth group at First Lutheran Church. All youth in grades 9-12 are welcome and encouraged to find community, support and fun by participating in activities throughout the year. We will be meeting 3-4 times per month on Sunday or Wednesday evenings. When we gather, we get to know each other, talk, laugh, share prayer concerns, play games, study God’s word, discuss faith in every day life, serve others, and more.

All students who are going into 8-12th grades this fall are eligible to attend next summer's gathering in Minneapolis, MN, July 24-28.

Covid-19 Update from Church Council- August 18, 2021

After much discussion, looking at recommendations of our Synod office from Bishop Anne Edison-Albright, CDC guidelines and information from Wisconsin Council of Churches regarding the rise of Covid-19 cases in the State of Wisconsin, especially cases attributed to the Delta variant, the following motion was passed unanimously at this week’s meeting:

Masks will be REQUIRED to be worn by all people, over the age of 2, (or do not have health issues that keep them from masking) for indoor church services, all other indoor meetings and activities, as well as outdoor activities or gatherings where distancing is not possible.

This requirement will take place immediately.

Remember to stay home if:

1) you are experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms.

2) you have had positive a Covid-19 test in the last 10 days.

3) you have had a a close contact with a person who has Covid-19 within the last 10 days.

First Communion 5-6th Grade

First Communion classes are offered to 5-6th Grade students as well as older students who haven’t had classes previously. A parent should plan to attend classes along with their child.

Classes are Mondays at 6:00 pm. October 4, 11, 18 and 25.

First Communion Sunday is October 31 at 10:30 am. Bishop Anne Edison-Albright will be leading the service that day.

Plans are still on as scheduled for classes and First Communion Sunday.

Please contact Kristine if you would like to begin utilizing a staffed nursery for your children during Sunday morning worship at 9:00 am. We currently do not have staffed nursery care available. However, the nursery is open for use by one family at a time during worship. Parent(s) stay in the nursery with their children throughout the worship service and listen on the radio. This may be a useful step in transitioning back to attending in-person worship. You may make a reservation by calling the church office (682-7742) beginning at 11:00 am each Tuesday for the following Sunday. Contact Kristine for more details.

Spark Youth Group 4-6th Grade

Spark youth group is an opportunity for middle elementary students to meet monthly during the school year for fellowship, faith and fun. This year, the first meeting will be Wednesday, November 10, time to be determined. We plan to meet on December 8, January 12, February 9, March 9, April 6 and May 11.

This is a fundraiser for youth activities and trips

We purchase Kwik Trip Gift Cards at a discount and sell them to you at face value

Cards are good for gas, store items and car washes

We currently have $25 and $50 cards available

Check can be made out to First Lutheran Youth
