Happy October!

There are many items in this newsletter for Non-school Days and Early Dismissal sign ups. Reminder that you must register with the links below if your child is attending on these days.

Please note that GEARS Kids Center will be open on Columbus Day on October 14th. Our Professional Staff Development Day will be on Friday, October 25th. GEARS will be closed that day.

We are hosting our first fundraiser of the school year. Neighbor's Cookie Dough brochures will be sent home with all families. The delivery of the cookie dough will be here at GEARS right before Thanksgiving.

GEARS Kids Center is excited to name the new staff for the 24-25 School Year!

Welcome Ms. Carol, new Co-teacher in Preschool!

Welcome to all of Elizabethtown College Students! New to GEARS: Mr. Seth, Miss Veronica, Miss Delaney, Mr. Ryan, and Miss Neena. Returning Students: Miss Jaylee, Miss, Hayley, Miss Alayna, Miss Carolyn, Miss Sam, Miss Zoe, Miss Hanna, Miss Sarah, Miss Jules and Miss Corinne!

“GEARS Kids Center will follow the EASD Calendar for the week of Thanksgiving; closed Monday through Friday. Before and After School Families will not be charged a surcharge this week. Families may sign up for the three “Non-School Days” with GEARS and pay $165.00 for those full three days. Families may use a “Vacation Credit” for the week if they have not used one already for the School Year. Before and After School families who are not attending this weekend and are not using their “Vacation Credit” will pay their regular fee without the surcharge. Preschool and Kindergarten will pay the three-day rate of $165.00.” This paragraph was added to the 24-25 School Year Contracts.

Administration is excited once again to share the "Teachers of the Month" selection for 24-25 School Year.. We love to celebrate teachers for a job well done, We will look for teachers who use Bright Wheels to communicate positive notes to our families, create a special activity once a month and assist a fellow teacher and communicate openly with Administration. Every month, beginning with September, 3 GEARS teaching staff will be chosen to hold this honor. Pictures will be posted and a small gift will be given to each teacher. Our first month to celebrate is September and our teachers are Ms. Rebecca, Preschool Teacher, Katelyn Trego, Bear Creek Site Director and Tracy Carl, East High Site Director. Please help congratulate these wonderful ladies!
