September 14 - 18 MS/HS Cardinal Update

Dear Parents,

In-Person vs. Virtual Learning Days - As we head into week three, students will start to have more demands on their Virtual Learning Days. Last week, their focus was on Reflecting on their first day back in school and creating their virtual day schedule. A great conversation topic at home will be for you and your student to discuss the virtual learning day schedule they created. Questions to ask -

Do you have all your classes linked in Brightspace?
How do I know what you are supposed to be learning/working on?
How have you scheduled your time?
Are there any classes you need to attend a Google Meet?
What will you do if you have any questions?

If they don't have the answer after your discussion, it may be a good idea to contact one or more of their teachers.

Free Breakfast and Lunch for Students 6-12 - Currently, we have a grant that allows for free breakfast and lunch for students in Grades 6-12. If you wish your child to get breakfast and lunch sent home with them for their virtual days, please sign up here.
