A big thank you to all the families who joined us last Friday for Family Movie Night! It was such a pleasure to see everyone enjoying a fun evening together.
With Halloween coming up this Thursday, we kindly ask for your help in monitoring the amount of candy brought to school. While we encourage students to enjoy their treats at home, if they would like to have a piece at lunch, please ensure it is a small, mindful amount. Our goal is to maintain a healthy and focused learning environment while still allowing students to enjoy the fun of the holiday. Thank you for your support in making this a safe and balanced experience for everyone.
This last week we held a school wide Spelling Bee in grades 4-6. We are very proud of our classroom winners; Santinago Herrera (Mrs. Sanchez), Paytin Robinson (Ms. Johnson), Ariella Coronado (Ms. Redwine), Menaal Batt (Mr. Tornberg), Lexie Juarez Ramos (Mrs. Sy-Prom), Muzamil Khan (Mrs. Hanson), Haroon Khan (Mrs. Gutierrez), Mehmood Hasan (Mrs. Pineda). The first-place winner representing Lawrence at the district Spelling Bee will be Haroon Khan from Mrs. Gutierrez's class. Good job Haroon!
