We invite you to visit the Hatchett Elementary School Library Scholastic Book Fair to celebrate reading, stories, and sharing a love of books. Reading is important for everyone of all ages, which is why encouraging young readers is important. Caretakers may visit with their young readers before school.

Nov. 11- Book fair set up

Nov. 12 - Student wish list creation starts

Nov. 13- Opens at 8:00 AM for student shopping. Book fair is not open for caretakers before school on Day 1 of book fair. Closes at 4 PM.

Nov. 14 - Opens at 7:30 AM for caretaker shopping. Closes at 4 PM.

Nov. 15 - Opens at 7:30 AM for caretaker shopping. Closes at 4 PM.

Nov. 18 - Opens at 7:30 AM for caretaker shopping. Closes at 3:30 PM.

Nov. 19 - Opens at 7:30 AM for caretaker shopping. STEM NIGHT! Closes at 6:30 PM

Nov. 20 -Opens at 7:30 AM for caretaker shopping. Closes at 12 PM.

An adult must be present for morning shopping. Students may not be unattended in the library before school. They will have their time during the school day to shop with their classmates.

Great question! There are 3 ways to pay: cash, credit/debit card, and eWallet. I am unable to take checks for the book fair.

I understand not wanting to send your child with cash, and especially a card. eWallet is a great way to alleviate this issue. See instructions below on how to set up an eWallet.

Scholastic's eWallet is different than MySchoolBucks, and these two cannot be exchanged. Upload money to your child's eWallet, so you know they are safely shopping without carrying around cash. This digital payment account allows you to fund your child's purchases in advance. Best of all? Family and friends can also contribute to eWallet. The more, the merrier!

Want the convenience of shopping online? Are you buying extra secret gifts? Buying books online helps get books in young readers' hands! Start purchases on Nov. 30. All items purchased are sent directly to the address given, so no middle man with having students bring the books home. They come straight to you!

Teachers will have their wish lists available at the book fair for you to help purchase books for their classrooms! Check it out, grab a book, and knock one book off our massive list.
