POSITIVE BEHAVIOR INTERVENTIONS AND SUPPORTS (PBIS)
Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
Arcade follows the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework, which creates an environment that allows all students to thrive. As part of that framework, teachers acknowledge students who are exhibiting Spartan Strong behaviors, being kind, safe, and responsible, by giving them a Spartan Strong ticket.
A raffle is held every week using these tickets, and Spartan Strong winners are announced on Fridays. The lucky winners then pick out a prize in the office.
SAN JUAN UNIFIED WANTS YOUR FEEDBACK!
Please Take This Survey!
The San Juan Unified community is invited to tell us what our schools are doing well and what we can do to better help our students and families. Feedback collected will help develop the district’s 2025-26 Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP). Please share your thoughts now through Nov. 11 by participating in a ThoughtExchange at www.sanjuan.edu/LCAPinput.
If you haven’t participated in a ThoughtExchange before, you’ll have the chance to share your thoughts and ideas, see what others have shared, and rank the ideas that resonate with you.
Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) feedback survey.
LPAC Listening Session At Arcade
Another way the district is collecting feedback is by surveying students directly. Arcade will be hosting an LPAC Listening session on Wednesday, November 13th. This is an opportunity for them to reflect on their school experiences and share their thoughts on ways our school and San Juan Unified can support student success.
This information will be used confidentiality to give feedback to school and district leaders and to help inform the district’s Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP).
We value our student and community voices and appreciate you taking the time to complete this survey. Thank you!
