10.18.24 PLES Newsletter
10/18/24
Dear PLES!
It was great seeing so many of our families at Family Engagement Night!
Our PLES students demonstrated safe, bucket filling behaviors during our security drill this week. We are proud of how they took care of themselves, others, and school.
Today, our learners enjoyed an exciting assembly from Grammy Award winners, 123 Andres! The day was then capped off with our Boosterthon Fun Run! Thank you to all who supported Boosterthon!
Apple Crunch Day is Friday, October 25th! We will celebrate eating healthy, by eating apples on this day. We will have a time that the whole school will crunch apples at the same time. Each student will receive their own bag of apples to crunch!. There will be some books and activities to highlight eating apples and other healthy foods.
PLES is looking for Halloween costume donations to provide for students in need. Please send in gently used or new costumes, labeled "costume donation" by 10/29 to be distributed on Halloween. Thank you for your generosity!
Next week, is Safe Schools Week. Please see the image below for spirit days.
Have a great weekend!
