Calling All Artist
Ms. Gleason
Hi,
My name is Ms. Gleason. I graduated from the Agrarian National University La Molina in Lima, Peru, with a bachelor's degree in food science, followed by a degree in Food Industrial Engineering.
In 2004, I moved to the United States and began substitute teaching. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for education, which led me to pursue my teaching certifications.
I am deeply committed to nurturing young minds and believe that every child has the potential to make academic progress when provided with a loving, supportive, and safe learning environment.
Ms. Strachan
Hello, My name is Wendy Strachan and I have been teaching for 25 years. I have a son and a daughter in college. I am originally from Peru and moved here to the U.S when I was 14 years old. I enjoy teaching and want to make learning as fun as possible. One of my many quotes I enjoy in life is “You are braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think"
Mrs. Knobel
Hi, my name is Mrs. Knobel. I am a dedicated teacher at Eagle Ridge Elementary, where I have been teaching for 26 years! I love teaching 3rd grade because it allows me to watch my students grow and become their own unique selves. I believe in motivating children to try their best and reach for success. One of my favorite books from when I was a child is "Charlotte's Web," a story about friendship and kindness. Outside of the classroom, you can often find me enjoying Pickleball, whether I’m playing for fun or competing. My favorite quote is, “In a world where you can be anything, be kind,” which reflects my belief in the importance of kindness in our lives.
Ms. Stallings
My name is Alycia Stallings, and I am a 3rd grade teacher. I have been teaching for 23 years at Eagle Ridge Elementary. I have two children in high school, a freshman and a senior who attended Eagle Ridge. I have wanted to become a teacher since I was a third grader. I love to spend time on the water with family and friends. My favorite quote is "Everything happens for a reason." I became a teacher to help make a difference and I continue this dream every day with my wonderful students.
Mrs. Valentine
Hi, I am Mrs. Valentine!
I've been teaching for 28 1/2 years.
Over the summer, I took my dream vacation an Alaskan cruise. A positive quote of mine is "Success is a journey, not a destination. The doing is often more important than the outcome."
