UVU Prep Program

Parents,

We are presenting information on UVU Prep in our 6th grade Math classes today and wanted to pass information along to you about this amazing program. UVU Prep is an early STEM and Engineering summer program offered through Utah Valley University. The program is a great opportunity for students who excel in math and science to get hands-on experience in the field while earning early high school credit. The application deadline is January 31st. If your student is interested, be sure to watch the video we presented in class. Also, please see the attached flyer. Every year, a handful of Mt. Nebo students attend UVU Prep, and we would love to see more of our students benefit from this amazing opportunity!

We know that transportation from our end of the valley is always a concern. UVU offers UTA vouchers for students to ride the bus to and from campus, and many Mt. UVU Prep es un programa de verano temprano de ingeniería y STEM que se ofrece a través de la Universidad del Valle de Utah. El programa es una gran oportunidad para que los estudiantes que se destacan en matemáticas y ciencias obtengan experiencia práctica en el campo mientras obtienen créditos tempranos de la escuela secundaria.
