Good Afternoon Wolf Pack Families,
Progress reports have been posted to Skyward Family Access. Please take some time this weekend to review your student's grades. Praise them for the classes where they are working hard. SPORTS UPDATE
This week the Wolves volleyball teams played some hard fought battles against Muir and Centennial. The girls showed great perseverance and have grown stronger and stronger as a team. The girls played some of their best volleyball of their season. They continue to show strong defense, powerful serves, and relentless spikes! With each serve, dive, dig, and volley, both teams continue to make Geisler proud! Be sure to come see us at our next home game on Monday against White Lake.
On Tuesday, the Wolves cross country team ran not only against Muir, but mother nature. Rain, wind, and even a little hail couldn’t keep your Wolves from giving their best. Unfortunately, Geisler was unable to come out on top. The cross country team continues to grow and get stronger as many runners continue to find the personal record times with each meet. Many athletes were also able to secure a spot in the Oakland County cross country meet that took place today. Good job to everyone! The season continues next week when Geisler faces Oak Valley on Wednesday.
PTSA UPDATE
Join us on October 7th for our next PTSA meeting! We’ll meet in the Media Center at 7pm.
BEST DAY EVER PARTY
Is your student attending the BEST DAY EVER party? Here’s a few things you should know:
- Participants should wear comfortable clothes, and bring an extra pair of socks and awater bottle labeled with their name.
- We still need a couple parents to help chaperone:

Math/ELA iReady Diagnostics
iReady is an assessment tool that is given to all students grades 6-8 in math and English language arts. The results from the assessment give teachers information on how to tailor their instruction to meet the needs of their class/students. It also gives individual feedback to each student/family on if they are at, behind or above grade level. Lessons can then be completed in iReady that are tailored specifically for each student. If your child is not at grade level at this time, it's ok! In the next few weeks, we will be sending home strategies to help them get caught up. We'll need your support to help us do that.
By Friday, September 27, your child's math and ELA teachers will be giving each student their individual diagnostic results report. If your child did not finish due to absence, it may be a few more days before you receive the information.
Students will be reviewing their own individual data and setting some goals with their teachers.
Please ask your child for their iReady diagnostic results in Math and ELA!
Please review the 2 informational letters below to learn more about iReady and how you can help your student become more proficient in math and ELA.
