I can't believe we are already in December. Our 1st term ended on Wednesday, November 27th. Report Cards will be emailed home on Monday, December 9th.

Forestdale School uses a Standards Based Report Card to monitor student progress. Standards Based Report Cards offer families clear and detailed feedback on students' progress toward specific learning objectives aligned with educational standards. Unlike traditional letter grades, it focuses on mastery of skills and concepts, providing families with a more precise understanding of a child’s strengths and areas for improvement.

If you have any questions with your students report card please feel free to contact the classroom teacher.

Sandwich Police were welcoming students to school on Wednesday, November 27th.

Ella Schiffmann and Jack Pereira, both are 2nd Graders, were the top girl and boy finiishers of the Turkey Trot run.

To kick off the holiday season, Friday, December 6th, will be Polar Express Day at Forestdale. Students will be welcome to wear pajamas to school and have Polar Express/holiday activities during their Specials classes. The Polar Express will be read to students by librarian/media specialist Mrs. Scott.

Wednesday, December 18th @ 6:30 pm

On Friday, December 20th, Forestdale will have a Jingle Jog for students and families. This event is very similar to our Turkey Trot. The event begins at 10:00 am. Families are encouraged to join their students.

This is also a Wellness Day. There will be wellness activities scheduled for students and staff throughout the day.

Friday, December 20th, is the last day of school before the holiday break. This is a full day of school. Students will return to school on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
