Federal Requirement for ALL LEAs
Please take time to watch these short videos for more information on the Migrant Education Program (MEP).
These would also be good to provide during FOY PD for all staff.
TEA has provided a template of the "Family Survey" that may be revised to suit your district.
LEAs should ensure there is a clear process in place for All surveys to be reviewed at the campus level or flagged online for possible migrant families.
If question No. 1 and any other is checked "Yes";
please submit to the ESC Regional Recruiter for further process.
