Rays Update
September 6, 2024
Message from the Principal
Rays,
I hope you had a wonderful fourth week of school. We are navigating illness at Reagan, and I want to take this opportunity to encourage you to discuss the benefits of washing hands with your students. We want to make sure all our students and families stay healthy throughout the school year.
I am excited to let everyone know that all students should be coming home with their reflection logs this week. We encourage you to ask your students about their daily reflections, what they are learning and what goals they could set for themselves based on their reflections. As we move to create leaders at Reagan this is a pivotal step in furthering the school to home connection.
We are excited to announce that we are joining forces with Leader In Me to begin developing student leaders on campus. As a part of this partnership, we are taking a baseline assessment of how our community feels Reagan can build student leaders. Please take a moment to fill out the survey below. This survey will help us create a baseline for where we are and determine our path forward. We will be bringing more information on Leader In Me to our community over the course of the school year.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend,
Alison Pennington
Principal
