Our staff and students in Egg Harbor Township Schools are keeping busy creating, performing and responding to the Arts with an emphasis on Student Achievement, Community Engagement and #EHTPRIDE

Congratulations to the EHTHS Indoor Percussion Ensemble on their performance at the Mid Atlantic Percussion Society (MAPS) semi finals held at Coatesville High School.

Their show, War of the Worlds, placing 3rd (by .075) out of 2s other outstanding programs from NJ & PA!

A Great Day for the Arts and for Literacy in EHTNJ Schools - Egg Harbor Township School District!!!

The Rowan Wind Ensemble under the direction of Dr. Joseph Higgins performed the music to the best selling children’s book, “Wild Symphony” by DaVinci Code author, Dan Brown, for the entire 4th & 5th grade student body on Tuesday morning.

The awesome music was accompanied and brought to life with spoken, poetic narration from EHT administrators Mr. Battersby, Mrs. Barr, Mrs. Thomas, Dr. Singer and Mr. Dorey and our terrific and brave students, Ian, Christina, Emma and Owen from Miller School! Congratulations to EHTHS Senior, Jenna Johnston for performing with the 2023 NAfME All-Eastern Treble Chorus at the beautiful Kodak Hall-Eastman Theatre in Rochester, NY.

This ensemble is made up of select students from CT, DC, DE, MA, MD, ME, NH, NJ, NY, RI, PA, and VT!

Thank you Jenna for continuing to represent yourself, your family, and The Egg Harbor Township HS Choir on the biggest and brightest stages.

A special surprise at the Indoor Percussion friends and family preview show, as the event began with all the parents and former teachers of the Drumline student learning one of the warm-ups! It was a fun night for all! #ehtpride

EHTHS Senior Jacob Stafford premiered his electronic composition “Fight For Your Life” at the NAfME Eastern Division Conference today in Rochester, NY. It was written iand recorded in our Digital music studio with Mr. David Craig Milnes and performed as part of the student composition concert presided by Dr. Rob Deemer, composition professor at SUNY Fredonia.
