Our school attendance last week was 97.3% This has risen again and is above our target of 97%. Thank you for your support!

In order to keep our attendance high, we are introducing a new strategy after half term. For every day that we have 100% attendance, children will collect a letter in the word ‘attendance’. When we have completed the word, every class will get a reward.

Our collective worship value after half term is Patience. Please take time to talk to your child about this.

We hope that everyone has a lovely half term break. We return to school on 24th February.

There has been an incident this week of a local child being groomed on TikTok. Please take great care about children using social media at home.

World Scout Day takes place on 22nd February. If any children want to mark this by coming to school in Cubs, Scouts, Brownies or Guides uniform on 24th February, they may do so.

There was a near miss locally this week where a child nearly choked on a whole grape that was in their packed lunch. Please ensure that all items in lunch boxes are cut into smaller chunks so that they don’t present a choking hazard.

There is a FOSS meeting on the first Monday back, 24th February, at 7pm in school.

Children can decide daily whether they are having a school dinner or packed lunch.

Please ensure you use our new meal selector to order lunches for your child for up to 3 weeks in advance, see the link below.

Each day there are 4 choices, either the hot dinner, hot vegetarian option, jacket potato with a choice of toppings or a sandwich. The sandwich and jacket potato always come with a selection of vegetables/salad on the side and have the full pudding choice for that day.

Packed Lunches - if you are sending grapes in your child's packed lunch, can you please ensure that these are cut in half.

Help raise money for FOSS and label your children's school items. The soft plastic labels can be stuck on machine wash-care labels of clothes, but can also be used on shoes, dishwasher items and general school items.

Please be considerate when parking near the school crossing. If parked too close it can be very difficult to see if it is safe to cross, particularly at pick up time-thank you.
