Each month, Manville School District staff recognizes outstanding performance by students and staff in each building. Enthusiasm, determination, work ethic and benevolence are taken into consideration. Those who exemplify these qualities are awarded for their efforts with Student or Staff of the Month. Weston
Skylah Gonzalez
Grade: Kindergarten
Skylah was selected as February’s Student of the Month because she is extremely kind to everyone she meets. Skylah is always ready to help a friend in need, offer words of encouragement, and she always solves her problems with kind words and actions. She is a shining example of what it means to be kind and she makes our classroom so bright!

Jessica Storey
Staff of the Month
I have been a nurse for 16yrs, primarily working as a neonatal and OB nurse. I also briefly worked with Aetna’s Medicaid division as a nurse case manager before becoming a school nurse. I became a school nurse after my daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, and I quickly realized how important the role of the school nurse is to students with chronic medical conditions and their families.
Notable Accomplishments
Meaningful and rewarding relationships are at the core of all my professional accomplishments. As a school nurse, I’ve been able to form meaningful and lasting relationships with not only staff and students, but also their families. The heartfelt relationships that I have built with the students are so incredibly rewarding. They trust me to care for them, and that means the world to me. Throughout my career with RWJ, Saint Peter’s Hospital, and Aetna, I’ve had the opportunity to work with and care for many different kinds of people from all different backgrounds. Of all these places I’ve had the pleasure of working, the community of Manville is by far the most rewarding.

Mrs. Dattola
Staff of the Month
Mrs. Dattola has been working in the Manville School District since September 2017. She has spent all of her time as a proud member of Roosevelt School with the dynamic 4th-grade team and students, where she has taught primarily math and science before being de-departmentalized and teaching all four core subjects. She avidly participates in the Roosevelt Dress Down Days and has participated in many clubs and committees.
Before Manville, she taught Gifted & Talented for 3rd through 8th graders in several districts.
When she's not teaching, you can find her spending time with her husband, daughter (Hadley), and dog (Barkleigh), cheering on the Penn State Nittany Lions and James Madison Dukes, and enjoying time running and crafting. She also loves to travel to the Outer Banks with her family and enjoy the beach!

Gregory Jackson

Notable Accomplishments Mr. Jackson has worked to become an ideal member of the ABIS community, creating fun and interesting lessons, getting involved with many activities and clubs. including starting the Game Club, participating in the Faculty Vs. Student games, and even “came in like a wrecking ball,” for the ABIS Got Talent Show. Mr. Jackson has taken on the role of a mentor to his student teacher this year. He works to bring a fun and infectious energy to the school with his loud booming laugh and happy demeanor with students and staff. Mr. Jackson has built meaningful relationships with students by getting to know them and having fun with them in school and extracurricular activities.

Student of the Month
I have witnessed Genesis work critically and thoughtfully to establish a solid academic and personal foundation for herself by strengthening her emotional intelligence, navigating leadership roles, and accomplishing goals she set forth for herself. Genesis gives her energy to our school and community through her numerous leadership roles and her work with our after-care program at Weston Elementary.
3 Fun Facts about Genesis:
Reading is my favorite hobby and I love all kinds of genres.
I work in childcare and at an ice cream shop. They’re the best jobs I could’ve applied for and I look forward to working everyday.
No matter how old I get, I’ll always be excited to receive or buy a stuffed animal.
My Favorite thing about my school is… "having met some of the greatest people who have stuck by my side since my earliest days at Weston. Being such a small town has made me appreciate the friends I have who I can call family, along with the wonderful teachers who have supported me throughout my academic years."
Tyler Kesolitz
Athlete of the Month
Grade:12
Tyler Kesolitz has earned Athlete of the Month for leading the Manville Boys Basketball team to 12 wins. On the season, he is averaging 17 points and 5 rebounds per game. He has made 71 three pointers so far which is 1st place in the Conference.

Made 1,000 career points. The first MHS Boys Basketball player in over 50 years.
Both of my parents went to Manville and played Varsity Sports
I’ve always loved sports because I was introduced to it at a young age. So much so that I ran Cross Country my Freshmen year because COVID made me feel out of shape.
My Favorite thing about my school is… "How involved everyone is and they make sure to acknowledge you when you reach a milestone, break a record or accomplish something noteworthy."

Jennifer Rodzinak
Staff of the Month
Jennifer Rodzinak has emerged as a shining example of dedication and expertise in our school district, earning the title of District Staff Member of the Month. Jen joined our school district last year as the District’s BCBA, whose expertise has played a pivotal role in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans tailored to the unique needs of each student.
Jen possesses a rare blend of compassion, patience, and analytical skills, enabling her to forge meaningful connections with students, parents, and educators. Whether collaborating with teachers to integrate behavioral strategies into the classroom, educating staff through articulation and professional development, or providing guidance and support to families navigating the challenges of raising a child with special needs, Jen consistently goes above and beyond to ensure every child receives the support they deserve. Her optimism, empathy, and unwavering commitment to promoting inclusivity and fostering the potential of every student exemplify the core values of our school district.
When she is not at work, Jen enjoys doing anything she can outside with her husband and two children. She also enjoys cooking recipes from vintage cookbooks, playing video games, attending heavy metal concerts, and is currently training for her second bodybuilding competition.
