Back-to-school

We are excited to kick off the 2024-2025 school year! We will continue to focus on how we can live out our school’s theme of “Andover Together”. Our intention is to find ways to live out this message as a school, partnering with our community, in order to empower our graduates to achieve their personal and professional goals, engage the world, and thrive in the 21st century.

It is an exciting time to be a Husky! We are working hard to prepare things for the upcoming school year. School is still a busy place with over 500 athletes, musicians, driver’s education students, who are all working out, practicing, or studying throughout the summer. As we enter the new school year, we are excited to welcome several new staff members:

FRESHMAN ORIENTATION

We will be holding our Freshman Orientation on the first day of school Tuesday, September 3rd. This day will be for 9th grade students only. We have an exciting day planned to help them transition to high school successfully on their first day. Click Here for more details about the day.

Students in grades 10,11, and 12 should only attend if they are helping with the orientation program unless you are brand new to Andover High School. Students new to Andover HIgh School in 10, 11, and 12th grades are invited to come on the first day and go through an orientation program designed for you. School will officially start for all students Wednesday, September 4th.

STUDENT SCHEDULES

Parents and students will have access to student class schedules through their AH Connect account beginning on Wednesday, August 21st, 2024.

STUDENT PICTURE DAY

Wednesday, August 21st: 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm : Grades 9,10 & 11 (including all students new to Andover High School)

Students must have their photo taken prior to the school year for their student ID and the school yearbook. Information regarding ordering these pictures will be sent on a later date.

Picture Makeup day will be September 12th. Picture Retake Day October 3rd.

OPEN HOUSE

Open House is Wednesday, August 28th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Students and parents will have an opportunity to meet teachers and become familiar with the Andover High School campus. Come anytime throughout the evening to find classrooms and meet teachers, administrators, and additional support staff.

NEW STUDENT MEETING

We will hold a meeting for all new to Andover High School students and their families in grades 10-12 during Open House from 6:30 PM - 7:00 PM in our North Cafeteria. Stop by to learn more about all of the exciting things that Andover has to offer.

SUPPLIES LIST

Although high schools do not have school-wide supply lists, our teaching staff will be available at Open House for more specific questions pertaining to supplies needed for their specific class.
