Page Middle Families,

Tomorrow, March 31st, is a late start day. Next Monday, April 7th, is the last late start of the year.

Congratulations to our 8th grade band on their Southeastern Music performance in Atlanta this week. This was an invitation only event. I was able to watch our band along with other top middle school bands. I can say our band was superior. Congrats to the students and our band teachers, Mr. Burton and Mrs. Hankins.

Our athletic teams continue to thrive and our Science Olympiad team will be heading to state competition this weekend. The FFA club had first place finishes this past week in state competitions as well. WE are all very proud of what our students are doing. I am looking forward to getting their best effort on TCAP tests later in April. Remind your child now is not the time to slow down. It is time to put on more steam. They can rest at the end of May.

When students' CK Express is not loading at home, this is the solution:

WORKAROUND:

1. Click the Launcher button in the bottom-left corner of your screen.
2. Open the Play Store and wait for it to load completely.
3. Once the Play Store is fully open, try launching the Chrome browser again. You should now be able to browse the internet.

This is the solution our IT department has found and there have not been any fails as of yet. This has been happening since before break, so please let your students know of this.

The 8th Grade Dance will be held Friday, April 25th. More information will be coming soon!

The 8th Grade Promotion will be held Wednesday, May 21st, at 5:30 at the Page High School football stadium. The promotion will go on rain or shine, and will be moved indoors if there is inclement weather.

Attention 8th graders zoned for Centennial! Are you interested in Marching Band and/or Color Guard? If so, please attend the Registration Day for Marching Band 2025 on Saturday, April 26th at 1:00 in the Band Room at Centennial High School! Attendance at this meeting does not commit you to marching band--it's just an informational meeting. Meet current band students and families, get fitted for a uniform (if you know you are intending to do marching band), ask all questions you may have, and learn all about the amazing band experience at CHS! Centennial's marching band is an award-winning competition-circuit band, and the entire band program at CHS performed at Disney Springs during spring break this year. NO BUS PASSES AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. Per direction from the WCS Transportation Department, we CANNOT write bus passes for students to ride a bus other than their own. Thank you for your understanding.
