Join us for an immersive experience at the first annual AgriSTEM Expo, where cutting-edge technology meets the rich tapestry of agriculture. Explore innovative farming equipment, engage in hands-on STEM activities, and witness the creativity of students solving real-world agricultural challenges. The AgriSTEM Expo will bring together farmers, educators, and students to explore the latest advancements in agriculture and inspire the next generation of agricultural leaders.

Alabama Technology in Motion, in collaboration with the Alabama Learning Exchange and Enterprise City Schools, will host the event on Friday, October 11, 2024 from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the Enterprise High School Gymnasium. Alabama high school students in grades 9-12 are invited to attend the event with teacher chaperones.

Educational Opportunities:

• Students: High school students will actively participate in hands-on challenges,

creating prototypes to address real-world agricultural problems. This fosters creativity,

problem-solving skills, and a passion for agricultural innovation.

• Teachers: A concurrent STEM-focused professional development session will equip teachers

with the tools and knowledge to inspire students in science, technology, engineering, and

mathematics.

Direct Farmer Engagement:

• Local farmers will have the opportunity to learn about innovative technologies

that can enhance their farming practices. We are also extending invitations to a select group

of Midwest farmers to share insights into new technologies they are employing.

You and your students are invited to participate in the AgriSTEM Expo Student Problem-Solving Challenge! This exciting opportunity allows high school students to work alongside farmers in their community to identify real-world agricultural challenges and develop innovative solutions.
