HI PANTHER FAMILIES ❤️

It's has been an amazing kickoff to our school year and welcome to our third week of school! Our students have shown up daily prepared and ready to learn. Thank you all for your work in getting them here. One thing that we are pushing for is an increase in our student daily attendance. Each week, we have a pop up surprise for those students with perfect and improved attendance. Ask your child what the surprise pop up was for this past week.

For those of you that our new to our school community and as a reminder to our returning families, each week I will share The Panther Post, our school wide communication newsletter. This newsletter will contain important updates and notifications that will ensure your success for the week and the school year. If you ever have any questions, feel free to reach out. We are here to support each of you. Our goal is to keep you in the know! Thank you for your continued support and partnership! We look forward to seeing you soon.

PANTHER NEWS YOU CAN USE

MORNING ARRIVAL

Morning arrival is 7:00 am-7:40 am. Students arriving after 7:40 am will be marked tardy as the instructional day begins promptly at 7:40 am. Breakfast is available from 7:10 am-7:35 am. We do not have staff members on campus to monitor students prior to 7:10 am. Students should not be dropped off prior to 7:10 am.

Parents are asked to use the designated car rider loop for morning drop-off. Students should be released from the vehicle quickly and will be escorted by staff members into the building. Please be cautious of other students exiting from their parents’ vehicles and our staff members.

Track The Bus

Parents/guardians of students should download and use the Here Comes the Bus application. This application will give real-time information on your child's bus location.

FCS continues to partner with the Metro Atlanta Policy Lab for Education (MAPLE) at Georgia State University to gain insight into the impacts of the pandemic. We wish to better understand students’ experiences during and after the pandemic to better understand and meet our students' needs moving forward.
