It's hard to believe that October starts this week and we are just a week away from Oktoberfest. Please remember that Friday, October 4th will be an early release day for Oktoberfest setup. We are still looking for volunteers to assist us with setup, so please consider donating a few hours of your time to assist. Below is additional information about ways to help.
Picture day is this Tuesday, October 1st. Students may wear their own clothes for pictures. Class pictures will be taken later in the year.
On Monday morning, Brian Rose, former pitcher for the Boston Red Sox, will be visiting Holy Name to speak with our students in grades 3-5 about the topic of bullying. This is part of our continued efforts to implement our anti-bullying curriculum. Thank you to DA Tom Quinn for sponsoring this event.
Parent/Teacher conferences are just a couple of weeks away. You will receive an email for sign-ups from Mrs. Krauzyk at the start of next week.
This week the students who successfully completed our Summer Reading Challenge will be able to use their week of free dress down passes. This opportunity is for these students only.
