Tips from Mrs. Tudor
Early Check Out for Students: Do you need to check out your child early from school? Simply arrive at the main office approximately 5 minutes before you'd like to leave with your student. Be prepared to present your photo ID (if requested), and we will call your student to the office. Make sure to arrive before 3:15, which is the cut off time for calling students out of class. Please keep in mind that, per our school policy, we are not able to call students out of class before a parent has arrived at the school.

Book Club Update: Exploring The Anxious Generation
This year, we've begun our journey into Jonathan Haidtâs The Anxious Generation, where we explore the unique challenges young people face in todayâs fast-paced, digitally connected world. Haidtâs research provides insights into the rising levels of anxiety and depression among youth and examines how social media, societal pressures, and parenting practices play a role.
One powerful quote from Haidt captures the essence of our discussions so far: âWhen we shield young people from challenges, we also rob them of the resilience they need to thrive.â This sets the tone for our exploration of how we, as families and educators, can empower our children to face lifeâs difficulties with confidence and resilience.
Heritage Auction Volunteers Needed!
Our 15th annual silent auction is April 11, 2025! We are in need a group of volunteers to join us in collecting and organizing donations, contacting businesses for donations and more! Many of these jobs can be done at home or on weekends!
Library Update
It's been a great start to the school year. The kids are enjoying reading stories and bringing books home to read with their families. Just one reminder: some books have been returned wet. Please try to not have water bottles near books in backpacks. Please also note that if you receive a fine in My School Bucks for a lost or damaged book, pay the fine and do not try to replace the book yourself. Replacement books must be purchased through a district approved vendor as they must be library bound books with our label on it. Thank you for your help!
