We have recently gone through a large number of water bottles. Please make sure your child has a water bottle with them each day.

(We have very few water bottles available for students who forget. Donations accepted.)

We are once again going to build our Wall of Honor to help celebrate Veterans Day. We would like to honor those family members who have served or who are currently serving. Our staff and students enjoyed this project so much that we want to invite everyone to share their family members with us so that we may recognize and appreciate the service they have given or are currently are giving.

Here is a link to the Honoring our Veterans document you may print at home or open. Students are welcome to draw pictures or insert a picture into the document. We are accepting these until November 10.

Hello PVE 4th and 5th grade parents!

We are starting an after-school choir at PVE that is open to all interested 4th and 5th grade students. The choir will meet on Thursdays from 4:15-4:45 in the PVE gym, and we will have the opportunity for several performances during the holiday season.

Our first meeting is on November 4th, and our final meeting will be on December 16th. If your student is interested in joining the choir, please fill out the bottom part of the information sheet sent home with students (also included below in a PDF) and have the students bring the completed form back to the music room no later than the end of the day on Wednesday, November 3rd.

The PTA is excited to announce this year’s Reflections Art Contest.

Reflections is a National PTA arts recognition program. We hope you will participate in this fun art contest. The theme for 2021-2022 is I Will Change the World By …

This is our main fundraiser for the year. All funds raised will be used for our Teacher Grants, PTA Sponsored Events (Night of Giving, Family Dance, STEAM Night, Carnival, etc), and for purchasing picnic tables and benches for our campus). Thanks for supporting our School!

IF YOUR CHILD IS ABSENT...

Please be sure to call into the office or email Jenene Hill at hill.jenene@westada.org if your child is out absent.

If your child has an appointment, please be sure to get a verification form from the provider to allow the school to change the coding for attendance. If your child has a standing appointment weekly/monthly, you can get the letter from the provider for the length of time to share with the office to allow for proper coding.

*Per district policy, an unverified absence will convert to truancy unless verbal communication is received from a parent/guardian within 48 hours (counts against attendance standard).
