Stop-Drop-and Go at the Main needs your help. Please abide by the following guidelines so we can ensure the safety of all here at PS 188Q:
- Please do not block the road or leave your car double parked to drop off or pick up your child. We cannot block the busses.
- Please do not move the cones so you can park on Hartland at dismissal.
- There is NO PARKING in front of the school between the times of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Please work with us to ensure that arrival and dismissal go smoothly.
All classes will begin eating in the cafeteria starting Monday, April 4th. The lunch schedule is posted below.
Masks are still required for students ages two to four years old. The Mayor made this update on 4/1/2022.
All students will have one session of Yoga throughout the month of April and May thanks to our PTA! It will start on Tuesday and continue throughout April and May on selected dates.
April is Poetry Month. See below to learn about different types of poems. The challenge is for your children to write a poem about April or Spring.
Thank you for continuing to work with us! Here's to a great week ahead!

🚩NYC School Survey EXTENDED to April 15th
As of Monday, March 28th, only 48.8% of our families have filled out the survey. The survey period has been extended to April 15th. Please take a moment to complete the survey. It is important because it gives us a snapshot of how we are doing. For more information please follow this link www.nycschoolsurvey.org.
If you are unable to find the paper survey, please follow the link below to take the survey. All you need is your child’s 9-digit OSIS (Student Identification Number) number. When asked for the access number, enter a lowercase “f” followed by their child’s nine-digit OSIS number (see example below). This will bring you to the survey.
