Greetings Eccles Community!
(As always, the Principal’s memo here that you are about to read applies to all of our students in both the Connected At-Home Learning Model or in the Canby On-line Academy Model.)
I hope this message finds you all well in the wake of the historic wildfires that have impacted our community.
Tomorrow is the first day of school for all students. While we are very excited to begin this work with our kids, we know that some of you may still not be in a place to log-in and have your child attend. If this applies to you, please know that the first couple of days for us will just be about connecting and checking in with our students. While there will be some academic tasks, these will not be assignments that will set any students back if they are to miss them.
Today, your child’s teacher will be sending you a schedule to outline the next few days so you can know what to expect.
In addition, I would strongly encourage you to read our policy (attached below) on expectations for student behavior during virtual classroom time.
Thank you for your patience with us as we are continuing to navigate events unlike any we have ever seen from a school standpoint. Please reach out to us if you have questions, concerns, or issues that you believe we can assist you with.
