From the principal......

Plans for the upcoming school year are evolving daily. Please be patient with us as we plan for August 24th. I will be hosting two Q&A Zoom sessions on July 28th at 10am & 6pm. We are trying to make this session as secure as possible. Therefore, you will be sent a passcode that will be needed to log-in. You will also only be able to type questions using the chat feature as all mics will be muted.


If you have questions about the Virtual Innovation Academy (VIA), be sure and check out this video before our Zoom session. If you have any other questions, I can forward them directly to DTSOI, or you can call them directly at 750-8780. Remember, the deadline to complete the "intent to enroll" form is this Friday, July 31, 2020.


On a different topic, further down in this newsletter there is information about updating your enrollment information. This process is CRITICAL. When you update information, you will also have the opportunity to complete forms on-line. One of these forms is the Acceptable Use Agreement (AUA). This form MUST be completed in order for us to check a Chromebook out to your child. Letters with more information should be going out from our district office this week.

Deadline: August 5th
Please complete the following form to let us know how your Hellstern Hero will begin school in August. Complete the form for each child attending Hellstern.

Update Enrollment Information

All parents will be receiving a letter in the mail in the next few weeks with further information.


The letter will provide the students 9 digit student id for user name.


Birthdate as the password (xx/xx/xxxx). This should be repeated for each enrolled child.


Using this link ( https://rgupdate.sdale.org/) you will be asked to login and verify your child’s information.

Football is in session!

Our 7th grade team is meeting on Wednesdays for practice in July. Come join them! They meet from 10-11:30am in the HBHS Field House, adjacent to the football field.
