Three Rivers Local School District Announces Leadership Updates for 2025–2026 School Year
As previously shared, Three Rivers Local School District is proud to welcome Mr. Tim Sies as Superintendent, effective August 1, 2025. In tandem with this leadership transition, the District is excited to announce a series of strategic administrative changes across all three buildings and the district office—each aimed at reinforcing our unwavering commitment to excellence and student success.
Mr. Aaron Marshall has accepted a new role as Executive Director of Human Resources for Lakota Local Schools. We extend our sincere gratitude for his leadership and contributions to Three Rivers and wish him continued success in his next chapter.
Succeeding Mr. Marshall as Director of Operations is Mr. Mark Smiley, who transitions from his role as Principal of Taylor High School. Mr. Smiley’s deep roots in the Three Rivers community and his proven leadership make him exceptionally well-suited for this important district-wide position.
To maintain the momentum of academic, athletic, and artistic success at Taylor High School, Mrs. Holly Simms will move from her current role as Principal of Taylor Middle School to become the new Principal of Taylor High School. Mrs. Simms’ dedication to student achievement and strong leadership will continue to drive excellence in all areas of the high school experience.
Joining Mrs. Simms at Taylor High School will be Mr. Kevin Cook, who will serve as Assistant Principal. Together, their dynamic leadership will help further elevate the high school’s thriving culture of growth, achievement, and opportunity.
Taking over as Principal of Taylor Middle School is another familiar and trusted leader—Mr. Adam Biedenbach. Mr. Biedenbach is excited to step into this role, where he is already well known and respected by students, staff, and families. Supporting him in this work will be Mr. Perlman, who will join the building as Assistant Principal. Mr. Perlman’s experience and dedication to student success make him an excellent addition to the Taylor Middle School team.
At the elementary level, the District is thrilled to announce that Mrs. Beth Jackson has been named the new Principal of Three Rivers Elementary School beginning with the 2025–2026 school year. A dedicated member of the Three Rivers community for over twenty years, Mrs. Jackson has served in numerous roles, including middle school science teacher, second grade teacher, dean of students, and, most recently, elementary assistant principal. Her deep commitment to students, passion for education, and outstanding leadership make her the ideal person to guide Three Rivers Elementary into its next chapter.
To support these transitions, the District will begin the process of filling the Elementary Assistant Principal position immediately, with the goal of naming a candidate in the near future.
While change can bring challenges, it also opens the door to innovation and continued growth. Every decision made reflects our shared goal: ensuring the best possible outcomes for our students.
We look forward to an exciting and successful 2025–2026 school year and will continue to share updates in the weeks ahead.
Ice Bucket Challenge Takes over 3 Rivers!
Mrs. Simms bravely broke the ice as the first staff member to take the chilly plunge in support of mental health awareness. Since then, Mr. Cook, Mrs. Wray, and Mr. Makin have all stepped up—and cooled down—to join the cause!
These four faced the freeze with big hearts and even bigger laughs. And the fun isn’t over yet—more brave souls are lining up to get soaked for a great cause. Stay tuned to see who’s next!
