BOBCAT BRIEFS

We are 8 days into the school year, and it is off to a fabulous start! This year our theme is Once a Bobcat, Always a Bobcat. One of our goals is to recognize the amazing things our staff and students do to showcase what it means to be a Bobcat leader. So far, 25 students have been recognized for a wide variety of things they are doing to be a leader. 5 staff members have also been recognized for going above and beyond to help each other.

September is the start of my favorite season and cooler weather. It also brings several events to the school.

1. Volleyball games start up! Please try to make it to a game to cheer on our Bobcats!
2. Picture day is September 6 with October 18 being retake day.
3. Bedtime stories will continue! Check Facebook on Saturdays to see who the Mystery Reader will be. The story will come out in Seesaw and the text blast on Sunday evening.
4. We also have the blood drive on September 5 (2:00-6:00). If you donate blood in a student's name, they get an extra recess with me.

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday weekend. Happy Labor Day! We will see you all on Tuesday!

Our first day of the 2024-2025 school year was AWESOME! From our littles to our bigs, students were excited to see old friends and meet new classmates. Teachers had their classrooms decorated in our theme, Once a Bobcat, Always a Bobcat and were so happy to have them full of students. The day was spent getting to know one another and learning about school procedures, schedules, and classroom guidelines.

Now the real fun gets going. We can't wait to see what kind of growth and achievements our Bobcats will make this school year.

Open House was August 14th. Students were able to tour the school and meet their teachers. Bobby the Bobcat was there to greet students. Everyone enjoyed the evening and look forward to the new school year.

A BIG Bobcat shout out to Angela Vanasselberg and all the volunteers who helped make the Back to School Bash a great day! Thank you to everyone who donated time, money, supplies, hair cuts, and snacks! Your generosity is so appreciated and is a blessing to many of our students! It was a great day to be a Bobcat!
