Weekly Update
Hello AMS Families,
We had another great and busy week at Algonquin!
6th Grade Band & Orchestra Concert - Our 6th graders have been diligently practicing for this concert and did an amazing job! Under the direction of Ms. Legutki and Ms. Vaziri, they put on an amazing performance on Tuesday evening.
STEP Holiday Sale - Our STEP students hosted their first ever Holiday Sale on Thursday and Friday. Items available included student-made holiday ornaments, bookmarks, gift bags, cards, and brownies. The students worked very hard making these items and had a wonderful time selling them to our students and staff.

Reminders & Updates:
We have an exciting update to share! Shortly after winter break, we will be implementing a photo ID system for students riding the bus. This new system will bring many benefits. Not only will it improve attendance tracking and streamlining of routes, but it will also provide parents with valuable peace of mind by offering real-time tracking of their child's location on the bus through an app. Stay tuned for more information coming after winter break.
