Here is the schedule for Classes & Spring Conferences for the week of March 28 thru April 1

Please us the following sign up genius link to sign up for a conference time slot.

You will have a choice of either Zoom conference or In-person.

Week of Schedule:

Monday March 28, Tuesday March 29, Wednesday March 30- Normal School schedule.

Wednesday March 30- Evening Conferences

Thursday March 31- Non student day, no school. Conferences All Day

Friday April 1:

• AM Session 8a.m. to 9:30a.m.
• PM Session 9:30a.m. to 11a.m.

Sign up for Conferences:

Please review the dates and available slots in the sign up genius and an sign up for a time block. There is a choice of Zoom or In-Person conference times.

You can choose a time block that best fits your schedule whether or not your student is in AM or PM session.

Please plan to join Zoom or arrive at AIM at the beginning of your time slot.

ASVAB – March 3rd at 8:00 and 11:00

For: All AIM 10th and 12th graders that may be interested in a career with the military

Results Lesson = March 17th at 8:00 and 11:00

ACT – April 20th at 7:00am

For: ALL AIM 11th graders and some graduating seniors

SBA

May 4th and 5th = ELA (10th graders and those that did not pass in the fall)

May 9th and 10th = Math (10th graders and those that did not pass in the fall)

May 17th = Science (AIM 11th graders)

World Language testing:

For those fluent in a language other than English, you could earn up to 4 credits by taking a test. See Elizabeth for more information.

Seniors at AIM H.S. this year are required to complete 4 hours of community service prior to graduation. Please plan to complete your hours by June 1, 2022.

NEW: Sno Isle Technical Center Update

Programs have been filling fast for the 2022-2023 School year!

Students should apply soon for the limited spaces left in the following programs:

· Translation & Interpretation

Are you currently a junior in high school and have an interest in exploring the health professions?

If so, the UDOC program may be of interest to you.

U-DOC is a free, residential two-week summer education program that aims to foster, affirm, and encourage high school juniors interested in health careers. U-DOC runs from July 11th - 22nd, 2022 on the University of Washington Seattle campus.

The Everett Community College Foundation Scholarship Application for the 2022-2023 school year is now open and runs through March 10, 2022!

The EvCC Foundation offers over 85 annual and endowed scholarships for students attending EvCC. EvCC Foundation Scholarships can be used to help cover the cost of tuition, fees, books, and supplies while attending EvCC. NEW: Assistance League of Everett is pleased to once again offer Graduation Awards to seniors with financial need. Awards are open to all graduating seniors. Awards of up to $250 per student are available for senior year graduation expenses. This may include cap/tassel, senior pictures, invitations or any other expense(s) relating to graduation. The main criterion for this award is financial need.

Search and Apply for Scholarships at theWashBoard.org. The Local Scholarship Program (LSP) scholarships through the Snohomish Education Foundation (SEF) will be posted to the Washboard beginning February 1st. See Derek for more info.

Private scholarships are one tool to help make college or training after high school more affordable. Businesses, organizations, and colleges award scholarships to students for community service, good grades, athletic ability, or a variety of other qualities or activities.

Students in Washington can create a profile on the WashBoard.org to be matched with potential scholarship opportunities. The site is spam-free and will never sell your information.

This Winter, our Local Scholarship Program (in partnership with the Snohomish Education Foundation) will post several scholarships available exclusively to Snohomish School District students. This is another reason to register on this specific platform.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the application colleges use to determine eligibility for federal, state, and college-sponsored financial aid, including grants, educational loans, and work-study programs. The FAFSA application for next year is available to complete starting on October 1st. It is important to complete the application as soon as possible.
