Unionville Elementary School’s Annual MLK Service “Blankets for Buddies”


Please join us in celebrating the life and the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.


Every year, UE makes blankets that we donate to AI duPont Children’s Hospital. All materials are funded by the coin drive competition that occurred in the fall.


Similar to last year, the blanket making will be done from home. There will not be an on campus event this year. As you give service with your family, please take lots of pictures and send them to Mr. D’Esposito (cdesposito@ucfsd.net) so we can capture the event and share it with the UE community.


When all of the materials arrive, the blanket making kits will be put together and available for pick up (Pick up and drop off directions will be available soon.). We are hoping to be able to distribute by MLK day; however, deliveries seem to be delayed.
