Troy 30-C Monthly Happenings
September 2024
Dear Troy 30-C Community,
As the school year progresses, it’s wonderful to see our students and teachers settling into their routines and embracing learning. I hope many of you had the chance to attend Meet and Greet or Back-to-School Nights. These events are valuable opportunities to connect with your child(ren)’s teacher(s) and become familiar with their school environment.
I would also like to personally thank you for your understanding and cooperation during last week’s unexpected transition to an eLearning day. Safety and security are top priorities in our district, as outlined in our Strategic Plan, which serves as a dynamic guide for our daily operations. Rest assured, our administration is dedicated to fostering a culture of safety for our students, staff, and families.
We encourage you to remain vigilant and share any concerns about behavior or social media activity with the district and local law enforcement. Your partnership is essential in maintaining a secure and supportive learning environment.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to a successful year ahead!
-Dr. Paul Schrik
Superintendent of Troy 30-C
Theodore Street Road Construction
- All traffic will be shifted to the south side lanes of Theodore and will be reduced to one lane in either direction for the next few months.
- While every effort will be made to minimize disruptions to our school operations, there will be temporary inconveniences such as district-wide delays to bus routes both before and after school, as well as increased traffic congestion near Troy Middle School and William B. Orenic Intermediate School.
- We ask for your continued patience, cooperation, and support. If at all possible, we encourage you to use alternate routes (if not heading to TMS or WBO) such as Caton Farm Road, Black Road, and County Line Road.
- Bus Information: For the most up-to-date bus route information, please be sure to check the Here Comes the Bus app.
Student/Parent Handbook
Thank you to all families that have completed and signed the handbook form. In the following days, we will be reaching out to those that we have not heard from to complete the handbook approval process.

Notes from the Nurse
As the students settle in at school, so do the germs and illnesses. Please remind your students to avoid sharing water bottles and wash their water bottles regularly, to wash their hands frequently, and to cover their cough. Flu season is just around the corner!
Attention Parents and Guardians of Kindergartners, 2nd, and 6th Graders:
Please turn in your student's recent Eye and Dental Exams to your school nurse as soon as possible.
