Buc Pride Shines On
Despite last week’s internet challenges, 24 students stood out for being ready, respectful, and responsible—earning themselves Pride Bucs! To keep the Buc Pride spirit going, we hosted an old-school celebration for all our Pride Buc earners.
On Friday, these outstanding students stopped by to pick up goodies from Wawa as a thank-you for showing their Buc Pride.
A huge thank you to everyone for embodying what it means to be a Buc! Keep up the amazing work, and let’s keep showing our Buc Pride all year long!

Daily Arrival & Dismissal
Our 16th Ave. entrance is back to being our main entrance for visitiors to check in. When reporting to school in the morning, students may either enter the school through the main front doors on the 16th Ave. side or through the back parking lot main doors that were used last year. Students who arrive after 7:40 AM are considered tardy and will be directed to the 16th Ave. doors to sign in.
All student drop off and pick up by car will occur in the back, large parking lot during student arrival and dismissal. No cars will be permitted to drop off or pick up students in the small 16th Ave. parking lot at the beginning or end of the school day as this lot will be used for buses exclusively at these times. Students may be dropped of or picked up in the 16th Ave. parking lot between 7:40 AM - 2:00 PM. Please see the diagram below that shows how cars should proceed through the back parking lot when dropping off or picking up students. The entrance and exit to the large parking lot to and from Amosland Rd. remain the same.
No Student Parking for the 2024-2025 school year
Unfortunately, due to the need for construction vehicles to utilize the large parking lot for the ongoing remodeling project, no students will be permitted to park in the school parking lots. Students may utilize nearby street parking and should follow all local parking regulations when doing so.

Schoology Access for Parents & Guardians
Schoology is our Learning Management System. It offers teachers and students multiple avenues for collaboration, communication, assessment, submitting assignments, and discussion boards.
Parent access allows for a "view only" approach to the course content. Parents will be able to view any assignments, discussions, completed assessments, calendar updates, or content that is shared by their child's teachers. Schoology also enhances teacher and parent communication by allowing direct contact (or communication) through the platform.
Though teachers may take some grades in Schoology through submitted assignments or assessments, eSchool Home Access Center will still be the official record for gradebooks and for attendance (in grade 6th-12th).
Parents & Guardians can register for their Schoology account by clicking on the information below:

Student Cell Phone Policy
Cell Phones & Personal Electronic Devices Etiquette
Cell phones may only be used on school grounds before school, between classes, during lunch, and after school.
Upon entering the classroom, students must place their cell phone in the teacher-designated cell phone holder (including Study Hall). Keeping cell phones away in pockets or bookbags is no longer acceptable. Students are not allowed to take their cell phone with them when they leave the classroom with a pass regardless of destination (bathroom, nurse, counseling department, etc.). Students may access their cell phone in between classes and during lunch. Violation of this cell phone policy is a Tier 1 Minor with possible consequences listed in the Interboro High School Code of Conduct. Students who need their cell phones on them in class due to a medical condition will have approval from the nurse’s office.
Headphone/Earbud Use: Students are not permitted to use headphones or wireless earbuds in classrooms, bathrooms, or hallways unless their teacher has expressly permitted their use for an assignment. Students may use these devices in the lunchroom during the lunch period.
Failure to follow this rule may result in confiscation of headphones/earbuds by administration/staff and/or disciplinary action. If a device is confiscated more than once, a parent/guardian may be required to retrieve the device. The district is not responsible for the safeguarding of students’ personal electronic devices; students are encouraged to leave these devices at home or in their lockers during the school day.

Parents & Guardians, please take a moment to complete the form below. This gives approval for your student to participate in audio and video conferencing to be utilized during inclement weather or other meetings and information sessions.
Gifted Education Childfind Process
The Interboro School District has a universal screening in all grades that is conducted in the fall of each academic year. This screening is to determine students who may be eligible for Gifted education and programming. When students meet the screening criteria, a Permission to Evaluate is sent home to the parents to ask permission to formally evaluate the student for Gifted testing. Upon conclusion of the testing, the School Psychologist will inform parents if their child is in need of specially designed instruction. If you have not been contacted via a Permission to Evaluate, but feel your child is gifted, please contact Mr. Brian Lytz, High School Principal at 610-237-6410 Ext. 2320 or brian.lytz@interborosd.org
