Important Fair Forms
FSA makes loans to individual young persons to start and operate income-producing projects of modest size in connection with their participation in 4-H clubs, FFA, a Tribal youth group, or similar agricultural youth organization. The project being financed with an FSA Youth Loan needs to provide an opportunity for the young person to acquire experience and education in agriculture-related skills.
The Youth Loan application requires a recommendation from a project advisor who verifies that he/she will sponsor the loan applicant, has the correct training and experience to supervise your project, and is available to help whenever needed.
If you are between the ages of 10 and 20 years at the time of loan closing, parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s) must consent to the loan application. Young people applying for a Youth Loan are personally responsible for repaying the loan. A co-signer is required only if the project shows possible difficulty in repaying the loan or does not meet security requirements.

Webinar
Nebraska 4-H has launched a new volunteer orientation. This online training serves as an introduction to the 4-H Youth Development Program in Nebraska and covers a few essential topics for volunteers. While the orientation is required for new volunteers and those going through the re-screening process, any interested individuals, including current and prospective volunteers, are welcome to complete the course. Club Leader Resources
Nebraska 4-H offers a variety of resources for 4-H Clubs and leaders. A 4-H Club is an organized group of five or more youth who meet regularly with adult volunteers or 4-H staff for a long-term, progressive series of educational experiences. The purpose of a 4-H club is to provide positive youth development and foster educational opportunities to meet the needs of young people.

A Note From the Educator:
I wanted to take a moment to say hello and introduce myself. My name is Linda Jeffers, and I am the new 4-H and Youth Development Instructor for Deuel County. I come with experience from the education world but am ready to learn all the ins and outs of 4-H! I am also excited to bring my experience with Family and Consumer Sciences to the community.
Thank you to everyone who has stopped by and given me such a warm welcome to Deuel County!
As the fair is quickly approaching, please let us know what questions you have!!
