Building for the Future
On Sunday mornings we've been in a sermon series called “Building a Future in 2025”, focusing on the book of Philippians. My goal with this series has been to help you identify your relationship with Jesus Christ as the foundational cornerstone upon which to build your lives. This relationship is not just seen as a one-time prayer, but instead, it is employed and activated through your life choices. Our relationship with Christ should affect every area of our lives - from the way you handle criticism to what your everyday priorities look like.
Take some time to do a self-assessment over the last 7 days - how are you doing?
- What have your reactions to circumstances and conversations looked like?
- Were you filled with anger or grace?
- Did you seek to justify wrong behavior or accept it?
- What are your daily priorities?
- Have you made living for Christ your number one goal or have you been feasting on the latest gossip?
- Have you removed other activities that take your focus away from Christ?
If we are going to be a church that hungers to reach the next generation, it begins with us! We must focus on this simple phrase: JESUS FIRST. Those two words can be applied to every area of our lives. It is my hope and prayer that you begin to view your life and actions with Jesus first.
Much Love,
Pastor Jeremy Champion, Senior Pastor
Worship Ministry
It has been quite the month for us in the creative arts ministry. I have spent most of the month getting to know people and understanding the dynamic of the team. This is the beginning of a new season. A new season that will bring tremendous change. This will not happen overnight but will be a slow, steady move towards embracing a new vision. My vision for the creative arts ministry is always to understand the heart of the worshiper. We can sing any song, play any note as long as the heart of the worshiper is right. We are not defined by the music we play but by the Savior we serve. We are already preparing for Easter and the week leading up to Easter Sunday. This takes a lot of rehearsal so starting early is essential. The worship ministry is hard at work learning new songs and new arrangements, the tech team is upping their game as all aspects of the Sunday experience needs to be smooth. We want the experience on Sunday to be a blessing and not a distraction. This moment for Trinity Baptist is an exciting moment because we are being obedient to the Lord while at the same time not knowing what He will do. But we do know it will glorify Him!

Children's Ministry
March is here, and we are quickly moving forward with plans for the rest of the year.
I would first like to thank everyone who contributed or worked at the yard sale for the CentriKid Camp; it was a great success! We are still in need of funds for the campers. If you feel led to help, please contact me so I can tell you how you can sponsor a child.
Our Wednesday night programs always highlight Missionaries from around the world. This month our missionaries, the Kennedy family, are from Brazil. In an effort to show our kids how the missionaries collected for the needs of the people, we will be collecting flour, corn, beans & rice to give to the local food bank. If you would like to contribute to this mission, please leave items at the Welcome Desk or in the children's area.
SAVE THE DATE!
- Sunday, March 30th: VBS Volunteer Meeting
- Saturday, April 19th: Egg Hunt and Petting Zoo
- June 16th - 20th: CentriKid Camp
- July 14th - 18th: VBS "True North"
Thank you again for loving the children and contributing to their needs.

TCS March Highlights: Memories, Milestones, and Moments of Rest
We had a wonderful time at our annual Daddy-Daughter Dance! It was a joy to see so many fathers and daughters sharing special moments on the dance floor. The evening was filled with laughter, sweet memories, and plenty of dancing — a beautiful reminder of the importance of family in our TCS community.
As we move forward, Quarter 3 is quickly coming to a close. It’s been amazing to see the growth and hard work of our students throughout this term. A Teacher Workday is scheduled for Friday, March 14th giving our dedicated staff time to finalize grades and prepare for the last stretch of the school year. There will be no school for K-12 students on this day.
And don’t forget — Spring Break is right around the corner! From March 17-21, K-12 school will be closed, giving families a chance to rest, recharge, and enjoy some quality time together.
Thank you for your continued partnership as we train up our children in the way they should go. We look forward to finishing the year strong together!

The last quarter of the year always flies by, and it is packed with a lot of activities. Your child's teacher will do their best to keep you informed so be on the lookout for their emails, Remind texts, and notes. The class Newsletters are posted by the ECE office; feel free to take a picture of them so you can refer back to them.
- Spring break is March 17 - 21. All 5-day and 3- day VPK students must attend Monday, March 17th only. The rest of the week is Spring break. All wrap around, Extended Care, ECE, and Nursery students may attend all week during your normal scheduled hour.
- Mark your calendar for VPK Graduation on Friday, May 23rd at 6:30pm.
- Summer Camp information is coming soon!
"So don’t lose a minute in building on what you’ve been given, complementing your basic faith with good character, spiritual understanding, alert discipline, passionate patience, reverent wonder, warm friendliness, and generous love, each dimension fitting into and developing the others. With these qualities active and growing in your lives, no grass will grow under your feet, no day will pass without its reward as you mature in your experience of our Master Jesus." 2 Peter 1:5 - 8
Thank you for the opportunity to love on your little ones!

Elementary
In February, TCS embraced the theme of love as we reflected on the fact that God is love. Our students exchanged Valentines and enjoyed special treats to celebrate the occasion. Kindergarten students spread love by visiting Brookdale Senior Living, where they sang and handed out Valentines to brighten the day of residents.
We also showed love to our community by supporting Loaves and Fishes through our annual Boys vs. Girls collection competition. The boys collected boxes of Mac and Cheese, while the girls gathered hand soap. I’m excited to announce that the girls earned the honor of wearing casual dress on Tuesday, March 11th!
Our fourth-grade class has been diving into the study of body systems, and as part of their project, they created models of the skeletal and muscular systems using recycled materials. Mrs. Joiner’s class did an outstanding job, and their creative representations will be proudly displayed in our cafeteria for everyone to admire. I was truly impressed with their attention to detail.
Third graders will be visiting the Showcase of Citrus later this month, where they’ll learn about citrus farming and explore other fun facts about Florida’s agricultural world.

Thank you for completing our first elective survey! Your input was invaluable in helping us narrow down the elective options for next year. We are now ready to move forward with the next step, and we need your help again! Please take a moment to complete the second elective survey to help us determine which electives to offer for the upcoming school year. Your responses will ensure that we offer the electives that best meet the interests of our 6th - 12th grade students.

Additionally, we are excited to announce our Family Movie Night on Friday, March 7th, from 6-8 PM. We will be showing Despicable Me 4, and it’s sure to be a fun, family-friendly event! This event will also serve as a fundraiser for the 8th-grade end-of-year banquet, so your participation will directly support our students' celebration. Be sure to check your email for more information for the event. We look forward to seeing everyone there and spending time with our wonderful school community!
