Five Good Things in Spring
April 20, 2025

Let’s give a huge round of applause to Claughton Middle School’s own Nia Dyer (now repping Carl Wunsche High School) and Spring High School’s Elizaveta Grebenkova for qualifying for the USA Gymnastics Level 10 Nationals! These powerhouse gymnasts train at AIM Athletics in Spring, TX and will be repping all of Region 3—that’s seven states’ worth of talent, y’all! 🎉💪 From bars to beams and everything in between, Nia and Liza are ready to show the nation what Spring ISD excellence looks like. Good luck in Utah, ladies—you’ve already stuck the landing in our hearts!
Let’s hear it for the GEMS and Step Kingz from Roberson Middle School who just slayed at the 2025 World Step Association competition! Not only did they take 1st place in the U14 division, but they also brought home the Overall High Score—because that’s just how they do it. This crew didn’t miss a beat, and their energy lit up the stage. Y’all did that, Roberson!
Give it up for our Spring High School track stars who are blazing their way to the Regionals! Christopher Turner turned on the jets and claimed 2nd place in the 400m—next stop, Regionals! 🥈🔥 Ke-Asia Ivery cleared every hurdle thrown her way, securing a 4th place finish in the 300H and a ticket to the big stage! Triple the cheers for Callie Fisher, landing 2nd in the triple jump and 4th in long jump—she’s jumping her way to the top! These Lions are proving they’ve got the speed, strength, and heart to go the distance. Let’s go, Spring! 🦁
Clark Elementary School brought the purr-fect energy to their STAAR pep rally—because when it comes to test time, these Cats aren't kitten around! 🐱 Our scholars are geared up, fired up, and ready to smash the STAAR like it’s a piñata full of A+ scores. We’re proud of every shining star in the building—go show ‘em what you’ve got! 📚
Marshall Marlins had an amazing day of fun during their 2nd Grade Egg Hunt, and the smiles were as bright as the spring sunshine! Buckets filled with colorful eggs, friends traded sweet treats, and the excitement was egg-stra contagious as students lined up, sat down, and soaked up all the springtime fun. Shoutout to the staff who made this hoppenin’ day unforgettable!
