The Rebel Crier
May 24, 2024
This Memorial Day, as we enjoy enjoy picnics, parades, and time with family and friends, let's all take a moment to remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service of something greater than themselves.
School's Not Over!
Let's Stay Committed To The End!
As the weather gets warmer, the seniors are out on internships, and we can count the days of school left on our fingers, we need your support to make sure that our 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students stay focused and continue to do their best work through the end of the year! Tardiness to school and to class is creeping up, as well as some unfocused behavior in classrooms. One of the most important skills we want our students to learn are persistence, so let's all work together to finish the year strongly!
Final Exams Begin June 12
Final Exams for all courses begin on June 12th. Some classes may have two-hour sit-down exams while others may have project-based assessments. Teachers have been communicating this to students, and it is important that students are in attendance through the last day of exams on June 17th. June 18th is a makeup day for students who missed their finals.

Thank You PTO!
The NFHS PTO hosted a wonderful luncheon to show appreciation for the staff of the high school.
The teachers, paraprofessionals, secretaries, custodians, tech staff, and administrators were truly grateful for the donations of families and community members in making this afternoon possible!
Special thanks to Nina Farrell and Loretta Boatey, PTO Hospitality Chairs, who coordinated the lunch, and Iowa Cipollone, Co-President, for setting up and serving the delicious lunch from Biscotti's!
