Principal's Message
Dear Cavalier Families,
This week we continue the Listening and Speaking portion of the ELPAC (English Language Proficiency Assessment for California) test. There are around 200 students who will be assessed. We wish them the best as they complete their tests to become classified as English proficient! Go Cavaliers!
Credit Recovery session 1 also started for those students who need to make up a credit in Math and PE. If you are assigned to attend credit recovery, attendance and effort are critical. Credit recovery is every day after school and on Saturdays. All 8th graders must pass 21 credits in order to participate in the promotion ceremony. Please see the promotion letter(s) below.
This week's announcements:
- On Tuesday, Project ADAM's Heart Safe program will be coming to our school. Hands Only CPR and AED Use Training will take place in PE Classes. - There is no math tutoring after school this week on Wednesday and Thursday as the math teachers will be at trainings/meetings.
- On Thursday, during Periods 3 and 4, Ms. Salazar's and Ms. Sainz's classes will be going on a field trip to Living Coast center.
