Midway Auto Visit.
January 13th
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are excited to share that as part of our ongoing efforts to connect classroom learning with real-world experiences, our students will have the opportunity to hear from a special guest speaker from a local car dealership, Midway Auto, on January 13th.
This visit will give students insight into the vital role that businesses like car dealerships play in our community. The speaker will discuss topics such as:
- How car dealerships support local families by providing jobs.
- The services they offer, such as car sales, repairs, and maintenance, which help keep us safe and mobile.
- How they contribute to the local economy and give back to the community through sponsorships and charitable work.
We believe this visit will help students better understand the connections between businesses and the well-being of our community, as well as introduce them to potential career paths in areas like customer service, sales, and vehicle maintenance.
If you have any questions or concerns about this event, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at jkrubeck@park6.org.
Thank you for your continued support of our educational programs. We look forward to an engaging and educational visit!
Sincerely, Mr. Krubeck
Nurse Visit
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are thrilled to announce an upcoming special event for our students! On January 16th, we will welcome a guest speaker from the healthcare community—a nurse—who will share valuable insights about their role in keeping our community healthy and safe.
Nurses are an integral part of our community, and this visit will help students understand the many ways they contribute to our well-being. During the visit, the nurse will discuss topics such as:
- The different responsibilities nurses have in hospitals, clinics, schools, and other settings.
- How nurses help people of all ages stay healthy and recover from illness or injury.
- The importance of kindness, empathy, and teamwork in the nursing profession.
- How students can think about health and safety in their daily lives.
This visit aligns with our goal to expose students to various community roles and career paths, fostering a deeper appreciation for the people who work to make our lives better. It’s also a wonderful opportunity for students to ask questions and gain inspiration for their futures.
If you have any questions or would like more information about this event, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at jkrubeck@park6.org.
Thank you for supporting our efforts to bring meaningful, real-world learning experiences into the classroom. We are confident that this visit will be both educational and inspiring for our students!
Thank you for your continued support in providing our students with exciting learning experiences!
Sincerely, Mr. Krubeck
Students Working Hard.
Dear Parents/Guardians,
I hope this message finds you well! At Sunset Elementary, we are always looking for meaningful ways to connect classroom learning to the real world. With that in mind, I would invite you to participate in an exciting opportunity to inspire our students.
We are inviting parents to visit our classroom and share insights about their careers. This is a wonderful chance for students to learn about the variety of professions that exist, the rewards of pursuing a passion, and the challenges that come with different occupations.
Here’s what we’re asking for:
• A brief presentation (10–15 minutes) about your career, including the daily responsibilities, education/training required, and skills that are important for success.
• Insight into the rewards and challenges you experience in your job.
• Time for a short Q&A session where students can ask questions.
Our goal is to give students an understanding of the many paths they can take in the future while highlighting the importance of education and hard work.
If you are interested in participating, please email me at jkrubeck@park6.org and we will find a time that works for you.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to enrich our students’ learning. Your stories and experiences could be the spark that ignites a student’s future career!
