Welcome New and Returning HSC Families!

I'm grateful for your ongoing support and have included some key information in this newsletter to help you and your student start the Spring 2025 term at HSC Fountain Valley smoothly. Second semester classes begin on Wednesday, January 22nd, and Monday, January 27th. There will be no classes on Monday, January 20th in observance of Martin Luther King Day.

Our community continues to thrive, with new families joining us! I’m eager to reconnect with familiar faces and to meet our new members.

Please join me on Wednesday, January 22nd, and on Monday, January 27th at 10:15am in the Multi-Purpose room near the HSC main entrance for a brief welcoming.

Ever need to recall information from a previous HSC Newsletter? Click on the 'Archived Newsletters' button inside your Family Portal.

• Log into your Family Portal
  
• Find your student and click on "See My Classes"
• Take a screen shot of your class schedule and either print it or text it to yourself and to your students

Please have a copy of your schedule with you. Our helpers will be busy navigating students around the campus and will not be available to look up individual schedules.

All classrooms will have signs posted outside its doors for the first couple of weeks. The signs will display the room number and every class that takes place in that room for the day.

Please see the 'Class Details / Payment Info' link in your student portal for the alternate rainy day location on the property.

On a rainy days students with outdoor classes will still have class and participate in either board games or another alternate activity. Our leases do not permit us to offer any make up classes at our in-person locations.

Issuing a charter purchase order (P.O.) to an instructor does not enroll a student in class. Students must first enroll through the HSC website. Once confirmed, then students can issue a charter P.O. directly to the instructor for payment—not to HSC. Thank you

Once logged into your portal, click on 'See My Classes' to view the following:

• Student class schedule with the room numbers
• Class Details/Payment Info link
• Links to Zoom, Google Classroom, Canvas, etc...
• *Unenroll link

*Please note that class tuition is non-refundable once the semester has begun.

Should you ever encounter technical difficulties while logging in to the HSC website, do not create a secondary account. This will create issues with your student's class schedule. Instead, Contact Us and we will be happy to assist.

Parents, especially those with young children:

Kindly discard your trash and clean up before leaving. Carrying wipes with you always comes in handy! Keeping our campuses & restrooms tidy keeps church personnel happy. Thank you for your cooperation!❤️
