Our Student Council is hosting a Spirit Week from December 16 - December 20. To kick-off our Spirit Week, students and staff are encouraged to wear your favorite Christmas sweater!

Break out your holiday gear and let the holiday spirit continue to come to life at JCMS!

The end of the second nine weeks grading period is this Friday, marking the halfway point of the school year. This is an important time for students to reflect on their academic progress and ensure they have completed all assignments, projects, and assessments. Teachers will be finalizing grades, so students should take advantage of any remaining opportunities to improve their performance before the deadline. Parents are encouraged to check the Skyward for updates on grades and to discuss goals for the next semester with their child.

Let’s finish strong and start the second half of the school year with a renewed focus and determination!

Our Operation Christmas Spirit Canned Food Drive ended on Friday, December 13th. JCMS collected a total of 1,381 nonperishable food items for the JC Coordinating Council! Thank you to our Student Council members and advisors for spearheading this project!

Here are our winners:

4th place - Team 6 Sleighed It! - 124 cans

3rd place - Team 5 Hawaiian Christmas - 198 cans

2nd Place - Team 7 The Rock Stars - 340 cans

1st Place - Team 1 North Pole Ninjas - 403

Students from Jennings Youth Involvement Team packed Christmas food boxes for the Coordinating Council on Saturday, December 14th!

Members of the Builder's Club volunteered their time bell ringing for The Salvation Army last week!

Reminder: to participate in athletics, student athletes MUST have a sports physical on file at JCMS and must be registered on Final Forms.

Schneck Urgent Care at 1124 Medical Pl. Seymour, IN 47274 is open from 8 am to 8 pm Monday-Friday and 8 am to 5 pm Saturday and Sunday. This location offers sports physicals for $25 cash/debit/credit (meaning they do not run insurance)

If your athlete attended tonight’s after school workout and did not have a physical on file, they received a form that can be filled out and taken to their physical. Having this filled out ahead of time will make your trip much quicker. If they do not have a form, they can get one from the JCMS athletic office!
