A Note from Mrs. Skappel
Greetings Greenwood Families!
What a fun first full week back to school! Although it's cold we have been able to enjoy some time playing outside during recess. Our Golden Lunch Tray winner this week was Mrs. Maier's 3rd grade class! They have been working hard to show good lunch room expectations. Congratulations to Mrs. Maier's class!
Next week we will be doing our reading screening assessments with our Kindergarten and 1st grade students. All K and 1 students will receive results on Friday, January 24th. Look for those in your child's folder. Looking for more info on this testing? Check out this letter that was in the Greenwood Weekly back in November!

Character Corner: Cooperation 💗
This month’s focus is Cooperation. One way to think about Cooperation is “working together to reach shared goals.” As a family, talk about how this definition applies to how you work together at home. What are some goals you share? Cooperation is 1 of 3 traits we will focus on throughout the year that helps students Be Kind. Across grade levels, students will be developing skills like perspective-taking, conflict resolution, and leadership.
