Dear Covenant Christian School Family, Friends, and Supporters,
I hope this message finds you well as we celebrate the incredible blessings we have experienced this year at Covenant Christian School. Thanks to your faithfulness and generosity, we are thrilled to announce a pivotal moment in our school’s history: the groundbreaking of our long-awaited expansion!
Your generosity has already made so much possible. Because of the support of our community, donors, and foundations, Covenant Christian School was able to make a 25% down payment to secure a loan and begin this exciting project. This expansion will connect the north and south buildings, adding nine new classrooms to our campus. These classrooms will enhance our ability to partner with Christian parents to equip their children to serve God in His world through a Christ-centered, academically excellent education.
While we rejoice in this milestone, our work is not yet complete. To fully understand the potential of this project, we need additional funds to renovate the north building and continue improving our facilities. With the end of the year fast approaching, we want to invite you to participate in a unique giving opportunity that supports our mission and benefits you: donating to the Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) program.
What is an SGO, and how does it work?
An SGO scholarship helps make Christian education accessible to families who might otherwise not afford it. It also supports Covenant Christian School’s ability to fund initiatives like our facility improvements. The Indiana SGO program offers a 50% state tax credit to donors. For example, if you donate $500, you will receive a $250 tax credit, meaning your net cost is just $250.
Key Details and Deadlines
To receive the 50% tax credit for the 2024 tax year, donations must be made by December 31, 2024.
Last year, Covenant Christian School awarded over $120,000 in SGO scholarships, with an additional $110,000 in aid requested. This year, we aim to raise $250,000 in SGO scholarships to meet every family’s needs.

Thanks to the generosity of CCS families, the first $25,000 in donations will be matched in full!
Join the Good Steward Society
We invite you to become part of the Good Steward Society by committing to a recurring monthly gift of $50 or more. Donors who sign up by December 31, 2024, will not only receive a special edition Covenant Christian School engraved Yeti tumbler as a thank-you but also ensure they can claim the 50% tax credit for their 2024 contributions.
Please note that recurring gifts made after December 31, 2024, will qualify for a tax credit only for the funds donated in the future tax year.
Your contributions directly impact students and families, enabling them to receive a Christ-centered education while supporting Covenant Christian School’s growth and mission.
