Benefits of a Smaller School Community
A smaller school environment has many benefits, including the authentic community partnerships that lead to unique learning opportunities for our students. Each year, Bower’s Produce donates hundreds of pumpkins for high school agriculture and early childhood education students to prepare. Students at Little Prairie Primary and Prairie View Elementary decorate and carve the pumpkins. The pumpkins then make their way to the East Troy Village Square and Camp Timber-lee for holiday goers to enjoy. Youth Apprenticeship students provide the transportation between each location. This coordinated effort relies on the time and effort of our incredible community members:
Bowers Produce
East Troy Chamber of Commerce
Camp Timber-lee
East Troy Elementary PTO
Youth Apprenticeship Students: Connor Moat, Anthony Arends & Gavin Wendt
East Troy Community School District staff including Mark Weerts, Ryan Holle, Lindsey Harris, Jinnesa Pluess, Aaron Judd and all of the custodial staff
East Troy Community School District students that contribute to the success of this tradition year after year!
Key Club and ETHS Clubs Hosts Halloween Bash
The Halloween Bash at ETHS held the week of Halloween has become a long-standing tradition that our school and community looks forward to. ETHS clubs and teams, led by Key Club, host rooms with fun activities including cookie decorating, pumpkin bowling, a spooky haunted house and a bounce house, to name a few. Over 1,000 students and community members fill the halls of the HS to enjoy the faBOOlous event! Thank you to the Key Club advisors, Shannon Venegas and Kathy Robb, for leading the event this year!

Sports Physical Information:
We are excited to announce that on Thursday October 31, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM, we will be offering free sports physicals in the main office at the high school. Through our partnership with Open Arms Free Clinic, you have the opportunity to sign up your high school child(ren) to receive a free sports physical. Please note that sports physicals are only needed every other year. If you are unsure if your student needs a physical, feel free to check with your students' school office staff. Please click this link to sign up for your physical.
Please note this does not count as your annual check-up, so if you have medical concerns or are in need of vaccinations please contact your doctor. If a concern is raised by the Open Arms Free Clinic, resources will be available for follow up, if your child does not have a primary care provider.
If you do not have insurance & this time doesn’t not work for you, there is a possibility that you could be seen in their clinic. Here is their link if you would like to reach out to them https://openarmsfreeclinic.org/.
Signups will be on a first come first serve basis. Please click this link to sign up for a time for your child.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Brian O'Leary (olebri@easttroy.k12.wi.us) or Kim Pluess (plukim@easttroy.k12.wi.us)
