DISTRICT NEWSLETTER
NOVEMBER 2024

Clever Family,
As we enter this busy season, I want to take a moment to express our gratitude for the ongoing support and dedication from each of you. November is a time to reflect on what we're thankful for, and our strong school community is certainly high on that list. Your involvement and commitment to our students and schools make a positive impact every day.
Recently, we sent out Climate and Culture surveys, and we appreciate everyone who took the time to complete them. The results are linked in the newsletter below.
With Thanksgiving just around the corner, Iβd like to remind everyone of our schedule for the holiday week. School will be in session on Monday, November 25, and Tuesday, November 26. There will be no school from Wednesday, November 27, through Friday, November 29, for Thanksgiving Break. We hope everyone enjoys a restful holiday with family and friends.
While snow days may be far from our minds, we all know how quickly the weather can change here in Missouri. Just as a reminder, in case of inclement weather, please know that every effort will be made to decide on school closures by the evening before. However, if conditions change unexpectedly in the morning, an announcement will be made by 5:30 a.m. You can find closure information on local television stations, through School Messenger, and on Facebook. Details on inclement weather and AMI days can be found in the newsletter below.
Additionally, weβre excited to share an update on our building project. At our latest school board meeting, the board selected Snyder Construction as our contractor, and we anticipate breaking ground in January! We will keep you informed of each step forward on this exciting journey.
Thank you again for your partnership and support. Wishing everyone a wonderful November and a very Happy Thanksgiving!
Dr. Breeden

BUILDING PROJECT
As we move ahead with our building project, our goal is to keep everyone up to date on the progress. Click the button below to see the dedicated space on our school website that we will be updating as things move along. So far we have the proposed timeline, the floorplans, and some preliminary renderings, but we plan to update that often as we move ahead.
This holiday season, the City of Clever, the Clever Chamber of Commerce, and Clever Schools are launching an "Adopt-A-Child" program, supporting students within the Clever School District. Letβs come together to make the season brighter for children in our community! Please see the information below if you would like to apply or if you would like to donate.
Each month, Clever School District joins Greater Ozarks Cooperating School Districts in celebrating educators. We celebrate four outstanding educators, and this November we're thrilled to recognize our newest Teacher Proud recipients! Huge congratulations to Ryan Keith, Carrie Green, Kaleigh Vaughn, and Kayla Verfurth! Their dedication and passion truly set them apart, and this honor is so well-deserved!
