Almost May...
4 weeks to go...
Dear Infinity Community,
Despite a brief reappearance from winter last Friday and Saturday, the sunshine has returned. The year seems to be winding down faster with each passing week! 8th grade is continuing their volleyball season, 6th grade is practicing and playing games (with 84 players!), and we are working hard to finish the year making sure your students have all of the tools and skills to prepare them for their next school year.
As this year continues to wrap up, our wonderful IMS PTCO has asked for families to fill out this survey to gather some input for next year. Please take a few minutes to fill out the survey as we are extremely fortunate to have a PTCO that provides such incredible support for our school community.
Thank you for your ongoing support, and we look forward to having a strong finish to our school year!
Regards,
Dr. Dan Hanson
Principal, Infinity Middle School
Computer Collection
We would like to share an update regarding a change that we will implement near the end of our school year. This year, we will be collecting ALL student devices during the final days of school. In the past, we only collected devices from 8th-grade students; however, there are several reasons for this new approach. At the middle-level alone, we are seeing a significant cost in damages, theft, and losses throughout the year, with a large portion of this occurring over the summer. The collection allows us to preserve devices, ensure they are intact by August, and have them fully updated with the appropriate software for redistribution during the first few days of school next year. Your student's computer will be ready for them to start the school year!
Collection Dates:
8th Grade: May 15th
6th Grade: May 20th
7th Grade: May 19th
Please be sure to have your computer and charger ready to return to school!

Traffic Reminders
Please help us keep our kids and community safe...
If you are picking up or dropping of your student in our north/back parking lot please do not park in the outside lane. That is the bus lane and is impeding our busses from dropping off or picking up our students.
Please don't turn left. If you are traveling North or South on Harvest please do not U-turn at the intersection in front of parking lot entrance. We have had multiple close calls with kids and traffic accidents. We will continue to work with the city to see if we can find alternative solutions in the future, but for now we need to work together for the safety of our community.
Attendance Matters!
Regular daily school attendance is a critical factor in school success. Students who are chronically absent from school are at risk of falling behind in academic learning. Poor attendance in early grades can influence whether children read proficiently by the end of third grade. By sixth grade, chronic absence can be a predictor of whether a student is at risk for dropping out of school. Help us meet our goal of having every child in school every day.
