The Glover Gab

Magic Hat needs volunteers! In order to receive funds from the Magic Hat, Glover needs 180 volunteer hours every 6 months.

*Please note: students or their families can volunteer ANY WEEK. Only Saturdays are restricted; on Saturdays, all hours go to the school of the week. Small items of furniture also earn hours. Please sign up so Glover can get their share of the money!

If you are interested in volunteering…

You should contact your PTO/PCO representative and they can tell you how to sign up and give you information on what you can expect when volunteering for a shift at the shop.

Thank you for all of your generous donations. We raised over 150 pairs of Gloves, 100 pairs of Socks, 150 Hats, 50 Scarfs, and 125 Blankets. The donations went to My Brothers' Table, Salem Food Pantry and the North Shore Animal Shelter. We truly appreciate everyone generosity. A special Thanks"" to Maggie Doben for organizing it.

Please contact the Main Office to let us know if your child will not be in school. All absences during this time period are excused. This is a full week of school and the students will have meaningful lessons and activities throughout the week. If the weather cooperates we may create opportunities to increase recess for this week to allow the students more time to be social.

Sharing is Caring but not when it comes to germs. If your child isn't feeling well, it may be best to take a day to rest up. We are in close proximity to each other and it seems lately many staff and children have not been feeling their best. If your child has a fever we ask that they be fever free for at least 24 hours.
